Our adventure begins in Siem Reap, the gateway to the magnificent Angkor complex. For one day, we’ll cycle through this UNESCO World Heritage site, exploring iconic temples embraced by nature, grand ancient cities with intricate carvings, and the world-renowned Angkor Wat. This is an opportunity to witness the architectural brilliance and spiritual significance of the Khmer empire firsthand.

Continuing our journey, we’ll transition to Phnom Penh, but not before experiencing the authentic rhythm of rural Cambodian life as we cycle through villages and countryside. In Phnom Penh, we’ll delve into the nation’s history and culture, exploring significant landmarks and reflecting on its past.

Our cycling exploration continues south, taking us through the scenic countryside of Takeo and the charming coastal town of Kep, known for its relaxed atmosphere and fresh seafood. We’ll then journey to Kampot, famous for its pepper plantations and durian, before venturing into the unique landscape of Bokor National Park. The tour culminates in the coastal resort town of Sihanoukville, offering a chance to unwind and enjoy the beaches. This journey is a blend of active exploration and cultural discovery, designed to connect you with the true essence of Cambodia.

Day 1 :

Siem Reap to Angkor Complex

Description: Depart from the hotel on the main road and cycle through the Angkor pass check point. Cycle through shady roads with a few potholes. You will see Kravan temple, Banteay Kdei, and stop at the famous Ta Phrom, which is embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers (visit 45 minutes-1 hour). Continue cycling through a small circuit passing Ta Keo temple, Chao Say Tevoda, Tommanon before reaching Angkor Thom city. Here, you will see the Terrace of Leper King, Terrace of Elephant, Baphoun, Phimean Akas. Stop at Bayon temple and start the visit (45 minutes-1 hour). After the visit, cycle to Angkor Wat to finish the small circuit. Stop at the South Gate of Angkor Thom for photos. Visit the magnificent 12th century Angkor Wat.
Cycling: 30 km by bicycle. Cycling on shady roads with some potholes.

Day 2 :

Siem Reap to Phnom Penh

Description: Breakfast at the hotel. Today, cycle to see the real countryside of Cambodia, passing through villages, waving and greeting children along the countryside route. After cycling, you will have lunch along the way. In the afternoon, transfer to your hotel in Phnom Penh. Relax at the swimming pool before enjoying dinner.
Cycling: 55 km. Cycling off-road through remote countryside.
Meals: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D).
Accommodation: Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 3 :

Phnom Penh

Description: Explore this bustling city's major sights by van, including Wat Phnom, the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, and the National Museum. In the afternoon, cycle to the Independence Monument, Tuol Sleng Museum, and Choeung Ek killing fields.
Cycling: 35 km by van. (Cycling in the afternoon to specific sites).
Meals: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D).
Accommodation: Phnom Penh.

Day 4 :

Phnom Penh to Takeo

Description: Cycle to Tonle Bati for a picnic lunch before heading to Phnom Chiso. The summit can be reached via a 180-step climb and offers magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. Later, arrive at Takeo for the night.
Cycling: 85 km by bicycle. Includes cycling to Tonle Bati and Phnom Chiso.
Meals: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D)
Accommodation: Overnight in Takeo.

Day 5 :

Takeo to Kep

Description: Breakfast in Takeo. Today, cycle to Ton Lap and stop for lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the lake. Then, cycle off-road along villages, the countryside, and rice fields to enjoy the scenery. All the children are cheering along the routes. Later in the afternoon, cycle the final 11km on a paved road toward the beach.
Cycling: 80 km by bicycle. Cycling off-road and then on paved roads towards the beach.
Meals: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D).
Accommodation: Overnight in Kep.

Day 6 :

Kep to Kampot

Description: Breakfast at the hotel. Take a boat trip to the beautiful Rabbit Island for swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing. After lunch, board the boat back to the mainland (about 30 minutes). Then, cycle 25km to Kampot. There will be a water stop at Phnom Sia limestone caves before arriving at Kampot, the town of pepper and durian.
Cycling: 25 km by bicycle. Cycling to Kampot.
Meals: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D).
Accommodation: Overnight in Kampot.

Day 7 :

Kampot - Bokor – Sihanoukville

Description: Drive through the fertile Bokor National Park with its abandoned hill station, stopping for lunch at Po Pok Vil Waterfalls for some respite. Cycle on the quiet road from Bokor to Veal Rihn, the junction of National Road No.4. From here, the traffic gets busier, so caution is advised. In the afternoon, arrive at the quiet beach resort town of Sihanoukville.
Cycling: 53 km. Cycling on a quiet road from Bokor to Veal Rihn.
Meals: Breakfast (B), Lunch (L), Dinner (D).
Accommodation: Overnight in Sihanoukville.

Day 08 :

Sihanoukville

Description: Breakfast at the beach. Free time to relax and swim at the beach until departure. Tour Ends.
Cycling: No cycling.
Meals: Breakfast (B) only.
Accommodation: No accommodation included as this is the departure day.
